Very pleasant hotel in convenient location. Front desk staff were helpful and polite. But no one answered the front desk phone on a few occasions - I had to go down to the lobby to get a question answered. The Room was pretty and comfortable, but needs some attention.. Three of the electrical outlets were “iffy” and there were no USB ports by the beds. There were no drawers and only two shelves to unpack clothing- and the shelves had linen on them which I had to put on the base of the armoire under the hanging clothes to make room. Breakfast area is nice, but the fruit plate I ordered had spoiled melon and the avocado also was not in good shape. At $17.00, the food needn’t be fancy, but it should be fresh. Overall, for 329 a night on the weekend, one would expect a bit more.

We had room 713 and the king size bed my daughter and I slept in was very comfortable the pull-out sofa bed not so much. My 22-year-old grandson slept on it. the ceiling was not finished...looked like a parking garage when you looked up, but it was ok. We were there Jan. 22nd and we left right after court for an emergency. I left my charger for Iphone13, my pink glasses and my pillow. Sharon at the front desk was awesome as well as everyone. thank you I loved being walking distance to so many places. I would like to go back on better circumstances besides court. thank you.

The Cambria is located in a quiet area of the city and was within walking distance of many good restaurants. The hotel restaurant although small provided very good food and the service was excellent. Paul was our waiter and he was great, very friendly and efficient. The Cambria was less than a mile from the cruise terminal. The hotal arranged for a taxi to take us to our ship which was a great help. Every member of the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. The staff was the greatest asset of the Cambria.

The staff was very attentive, to the point that the gentleman in charge of valet parking help me save over $50 when I pointed out I would only be staying for a few hours. The front desk staff also allowed me to stay an extra 30 minutes because I explained I would only be able to sleep about four hours. And the lobby is very much of the style of jazz infused French Quarter, great for some photo ops. The room was everything you expect in a hotel in downtown New Orleans.

I have stayed here many times, and it is always an amazing experience. The staff goes above and beyond what you would expect. This time we ate from the bar, and it was delicious.
